Patrick Dempsey saved a teen who crashed his car by prying him out of the car with a crowbar.

Will Ferrell is set to host “SNL” on May 15.

Matthew McConaughey may star in an HBO series about a serial killer.  It’s called “Dexter.”

Netflix is considering bringing “Jericho” back from the dead.

“Two and a Half Men” will be getting a tenth season.  This proves whether there is a God or not.  There is.

“Girls” and “Veep” have been renewed for second seasons.  Racists cheer.

A “Daredevil” reboot is in the works.

A new “Hulk” movie is in the works.

A bunch of super hero movies are in the works.

Diane English has been in talks with CBS and Candice Bergen to bring back “Murphy Brown” for a few episodes during the 2012 presidential election.  I may not be a huge fan of “Murphy Brown,” but this is a really cool idea.

Michelle Rodriguez has joined “Fast & Furious 6” and “Machete Kills.”

Mitt Romney may do “SNL” in the fall.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt wants to remake “Little Shop of Horrors.”

Mick Jagger will host the last "SNL" of this season.  Lots of news on "SNL" this week, I guess.  I'm sorry.

Matthew Perry Watch

Matthew Perry hopes to come back for season 4 of “The Good Wife.”  I certainly hope this isn’t just teasing us.  Matthew Perry on “The Good Wife” and on “Go On”?  I am in the midst of a faint contemplating that much MP. 

Here is a description of "Go On" from the Hollywood Reporter: "Go On centers on an irreverent yet charming sportscaster (Perry) who tries to move on from loss and finds solace from the members of his mandatory group-therapy sessions."

Movies Out This Weekend

Avengers - This movie kicks off the summer blockbuster movie season.  Rotten Tomatoes has it at 93%.  It has a bunch of super heroes and Samuel L. Jackson wearing an eyepatch.  I will be seeing this today with my wife and some friends in glorious 3D!
